After 10 years (to the day) of service to the Amateur Radio Community, the N4TZE repeaters have been removed from service on this 12th day of January 2013.
N4TZE Repeaters.
Own and operate the following repeaters. The 53.770mhz with a PL of 103.5 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The 444.000mhz repeater with a PL of 103.5 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The 145.290mhz repeater with NO tone in Lynchburg, Virginia. The 53.770 repeater is equipped with a NOAA severe weather alert radio and the "AMBER" interrupt alert system.The 53.770 (n4tze) repeater in Lynchburg, Virginia has the following possible repeater configurations. All these configurations are using modified Motorola commercial radios at the 53.770 repeater site.
70 cm 444.000 Repeater.
This repeater is in the
"stand-alone" configuration at this time.
6 METER 53.770 Repeater.
This repeater uses
homebrew inch and 5 eights heliax duplexers I built. The repeater has been very
successful in performing "In-Band" linking as a remote base. I also
built a set for the other 6 meter repeater in Lynchburg, Va. The 53.770 repeater can be connected to the
53.010 repeater in Lexington, Va. or to the N4TZE 145.290 repeater the 444.975
UHF repeater in Pearisburg, Va. I ask that when you
bring up this repeater that you give your call sign and location.
2 METER 145.290 Repeater.
145.290 repeater has the option to be connected into the 53.770 repeater. This repeater uses a homebrew Parallax Basic Stamp 2 as a controller. Location Lynchburg, Virginia.
